Police have finally recovered the remains of a doctor who went missing on April 13 in Kampala, Chimp Corps report.
The decomposing body of Dr Catherine Agaba was found in a septic tank at her place of abode in Muyenga, a Kampala suburb.
Dr Agaba was working with International Hospital Kampala. She also was a Member of Uganda Medical Association.
Police raided a residence in Muyenga where suspects were arrested.
Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango told ChimpReports that a “security guard, who was on Easter Sunday arrested from Pakwach district, led us to the septic tank” where Agaba’s lifeless body was dumped.
Police last week arrested two suspects including Agaba’s alleged boyfriend – a doctor who previously worked at Nsambya hospital before relocating to United States.
Agaba is said to have applied for leave from IHK hospital before disappearing mysteriously.
The guard, according to Onyango, will be interrogated as part of a wider investigation into the incident.
All the suspects have since been detained at Kabalagala Police Station in Kampala.
The development has since shocked the nation which a few years ago witnessed the horrific murder of Brenda Karamuzi. Her body was also dumped in a septic tank in Muyenga.
