Kisoro: Rwandan National Gunned Down

Police in Kisoro district has registered a murder by shooting of one Lambert Sabaho who has been the manager of a famous wine factory called Isimbi Wines.

According to police, Sabaho, also a Rwandese national aged  52 years was gunned down by unknown assailants as he was travelling back home last night.

He was a resident of Bigina village, Hospital Ward Southern Division Kisoro Municipality.

It’s alleged that at around 22:20 hours, a premio car white in color followed the deceased who was also riding his motorcycle reg. NO. UDS I05H Bajaj red in color and short him dead at the entrance to his house.

“The assailants drove off immediately and the registration number of motor vehicle was not identified,” said the police.

The deceased was married to one Anastizia Mahirwe, a Mufumbira by tribe aged 32 years and a resident of the same place.

It is said that the two have been together for six years with one child.

Police says that the motive of assailants is not yet established.

The scene of the crime has been visited by police and the body is taken to Kisoro Hospital Mortuary pending postmortem.

Inquiries are at hand to establish the cause and the hunt for the assailants involved on Kisoro SD 02/16/04/2019 refers.
